Gallon water is a bottled drinking water product or AMDK which is one of the necessities of life for people in Indonesia with a large size of 19 liters. Gallon bottled water, which is usually served through dispensers in homes and offices, has been proven to provide the main alternative for meeting hydration needs, because of its role as a source of drinking water and the packaging can be used repeatedly.
PC gallons are a type of drinking water gallon made from polycarbonate (PC) with a transition temperature of 150 degrees Celsius. This type of gallon is more resistant to exposure to sunlight and impact. This type of PC material is used for gallons of drinking water, one of which is because of its heat-resistant properties. Apart from that, PC plastic is also hard, stiff, transparent and easy to shape. However, PC gallons have a slightly lower density than PET. This means that if the gallon is the same shape and thickness, then the gallon made from PC is lighter than the gallon made from PET. So from an environmental aspect, PC gallon packaging is superior to PET gallon packaging because it is more environmentally friendly. PC gallon packaging has a longer reuse function than PET gallons.
